I'm obsessed with oats. Depending on how I'm feeling I'll eat them for any meal (including dessert!). They're so simple to make and they're such a healthy high-carb meal to have. 

After I've added my oats to the boiling water (I use 1/2 a cup of old-fashioned oats), I add a sliced whole banana to the pot.The banana will disintegrate as the oats cook and it thickens it up and makes it more filling! When the oats are nearly done, I add cinnamon and vanilla extract and stir it all in together. 

When the oats are done, I add another sliced banana on top, drizzle on a ton of maple syrup and there you go!

I usually just leave it at that, but if I have extra fruit in the house I'll add that too. My boyfriend likes his oats with PB2, so if I'm making it for both of us, I'll add that at the same time as the cinnamon. 

And there you have it! Simple oats that are good enough to have for any meal :)
